Annual Christmas Stamp-A-Stack!!

The annual Christmas Stamp-a-Stack is coming up in October! I hope you can all join me along with 3 other demonstrators for a fun-filled day of Stamping and crafting!

What: If you aren't familiar with this event, it is a full day of stamping and paper crafting, creating beautiful, one-of-a-kind Christmas themed cards (and sometimes ornaments or gifts), with 4 demonstrators and dozens of other ladies who have the same crafting interests! A light lunch is provided. There will be fresh ideas, new tools to try out, and door prize drawings!
When: Sat. October 23rd, 2010 (9am -4pm or whenever you finish)
Price: $30/person (includes 12 GORGEOUS Christmas themed card/projects, $5 off an order of $25 or more that day, booklet of project instructions, lunch and snacks!)
Where: MaryLou Johnson Library in Kenton (map)

New Catalog, New Colors, Fresh beginnings!

What can I say that I don't always say about each new catalog issued by SU!?? It's the same everytime - I WANT IT ALL!!! Oh wait, but that's why I became a demonstrator. Ha!

The creative and talented people at SU! never cease to amaze me with the catalog design, trendsetting stamp-art, color combinations, and ALL THOSE IDEAS! They samples that are pictured on each page just get better and better every year! Gorgeous and fun and very inspiring! Please take some time to browse through the new catalog online (use the picture link in the right column under my profile pic), or contact me to look at my copy.

When you find the chance to see the new catty, you will notice a major change in the color families - changes have not been made to the core colors in many years, and this time it was a RENOVATION. We now have 4 NEW core color families: Brights, Subtles, Regals and Neutrals; plus the In-Colors, which will now be available for 2 years instead of changing each year. Many old colors were retired, a number of previous year's In-Colors made a comeback as core colors, and we were introduced to 5 brand-spanking-new hip colors. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Marina Mist and Cherry Cobbler, not to mention thrilled that Baja Breeze made a comeback!! (If you are like me, and already have a collection of SU!'s exclusive colors in paper and ink, click on the word RENOVATION above for an easy way to add only the new colors to your stock, without having to buy all the colors families and wind up with doubles.)

So, as you've already realized, I am in love with the new catty and its contents and am gearing up for another great year of stamping. But, in order to do this, I must painfully clear out some of my old stamps and retired ink colors to make room for the new. HERE'S WHERE YOU BENEFIT FROM MY PAIN! Long absence

Sorry about that! Needless to say, SU! hasn't been at the forefront of my mind lately. As many of you may or may not know, we are expecting our second child at the end of August! That explains it right? But in any case, I still have many things to post here for my Stampin' friends.
